Postcards from Hartford

A video lecture for Hartford.

Postcard (from latin chartula, charta "paper") is a Paper of rectangular shape for mailing an epistolary open communication, illustrated with view, landscape, art work, comics. Once upon a time we would send postcards out and fro the world we were in, They were mainly pictures of scenic vistas. We would write some notes on the back, add the address, the stamp and finally send them from anywhere to anywhere.

I would like you to send me a Postcard from Florence and from your project point of view. Your postcard will be a fragment of peculiar acuteness that goes together with your project in Florence. Please in the back of te postcard, expose in a free way, with your own language, a consideration (The Text) on your project from the int of view of its architecture, its cityscape, its technology or its culture, taking inspiration from the one image belonging to your project(from the ideas to the actual status of it). This image will be the front of the postcard.

The Text will start "Dear Professor"...
